We want to encourage the use of NetDirector for centrally, securely and
efficiently managing all sorts of apps. This is why release 3 is
so big, since it heralds the availability of the plugin framework. If
you're a project lead and you have something that could benefit from
NetDirector's one-to-many management scheme - we encourage you to write
a plugin. If
you're a user and you've got a custom internal app that you'd like a
more efficient way to manage - write a plugin. If you're an ISV
and you want to leverage NetDirector to manage your app or apps,
write a plugin. If you need help, ask a question in our forums or
use our contact form, our developers will be glad to help.
Developer Resources:
We are working on documenting how to develop modules for NetDirector.
When we release the Kerberos module, we will also use that as the
template for how to develop a NetDirector module and provide
documentation. In the meantime feel free to poke around in our code.
